  My knowledge of the Applewood houses are a very positive one. Michelle, a house manager, is a very dedicated staff. She, as well as other staff, are caring and take excellant care of the residents served. There is positive communication with the family members of the residents at Applewood. Family is assured that their loved ones are treated with respect and dignity. They know their loved ones are treated as people first and their age related impairments second. The residents are given the opportunity to live and participate in activities that enrich their lives and make every day as full as possible to each individuals own ability. Applewood is a home environment where the residents feel the care and love they deserve.

  My Mother lived at Applewood Our House for 3 years. The staff took great care of her and treated her as their own. I'm hopeful that when I reach her age and need similar care that Applewood Our House is available for my children to place me into. Great staff and surroundings (very clean and does not feel like a so many nursing homes).

  I recently had the privilege of doing men's haircuts at Applewood Our House, an assisted living specializing in memory care. It was the most amazing and inspiring experience. Sometimes I think we lose sight of how significant human touch and connectivity is. I was reminded why I am a hairstylist, to be able to see someone smile from ear to ear when they are told how handsome their new haircut is;to see how relaxed they are being pampered and refreshed;how I have the ability to help someone feel special and be a part of their unique moment. I am so grateful to be able to have these experiences and bond with my fellow human being in such a unique and important way. I hope that I made their day special but there is no doubt they were my day-maker. Thank you Applewood Our House, for allowing me to having this opportunity.

  Applewood's caring staff and excellent facilities made it the perfect place for my mother's final months. And they also made us feel welcome during our visits with our mother. I could not recommend highly enough the dedication and skills of both management and staff.

  It is a pleasure to work with a team that enjoys and loves what they do. The caregivers have such big hearts and truly love the residents like their own grandma. The fun and laughs they bring to each other is amazing, thank you Applewood Our House for giving the opportunity for the elders to love and have true relationships with the caregivers and helping them until the end.
