Windermere is a beautiful quaint area surrounded by and including many lakes. The center of town has some cute shops. The recreation area includes tennis courts and is really quite nice and sits right on a lake. All in all it is much quieter and much less built up with commercial real estate. It is a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of Orlando.

Great little park. Good for picnics and watching the water. There is a dock to go out and check out the wildlife. There are tennis courts, bathrooms, pavilions, and a kayak launch.

I like this place because it's rather peaceful to come have lunch at the picnic area.

Great little park on the water in Windermere featuring two pavilions (one with BBQ's) a sand volleyball court, tennis courts, and a dock leading to the lake and plenty of room to run around.
