Camp Reeder

I've only been by their gate, but my son has been fishing there but he's never camped out there

They get 5 stars but only because I like the seclusion.

It has a camp ring, flag pole, A big covered picnic area two docks....a little rickety looking but solid and a building for bathrooms with stalls and showers and sinks. Nice trails off the grounds as well. We do boyscout family campout here every year. Nothing you can really complain about.......its camping!????

Reeder is a great place to hike, camp or fish. Particularly if you have a large group or young families. The site is large, flat and has running water, flushing toilets and showers. It also hosts a network of well-maintained trials and several geocaches. Harrisonville Parks and Rec manages the site and schedules rentals. The schedule fills quickly.

There is a water park across the lake that offers group discounts.

The entry road is narrow and adjacent to the lake, which causes it to flood in heavy rain.
