  These guys were great. By chance they were scheduled to replace my water heater during the polar vortex. I figured they'd want to reschedule but they came out and took care of the installation no problem. They were extremely conscientious, courteous, and quick, bringing several aspects of the water heater up to code that weren't properly done when the house was first built.
  
  Not only this, they helped me scrape ice out from under my garage door to help keep a pipe from freezing in my garage, checked that my furnace vent wasn't blocked with snow, and gave me several other pieces of advice on how to care for my home during extreme cold (which, as a relatively new homeowner, I definitely appreciated).
  
  Overall Ed really went above and beyond and I highly recommend this company.

  These guys are honest and efficient professionals. We were desperate for help when our basement ejector pump failed and the water started backing up. I placed a call on Sunday, got an immediate call back. Ed even had the presence of mind to remind me to turn off the attached water softener, to prevent overflow from the flooded basin.
  
  The next day I was only able to stay at home for a two hour window. Ed arrived on time, had a replacement pump ready, and quickly installed it. In 45 minutes flat, the old pump was replaced, all the water pumped and the work area cleaned up like nothing had even happened there!
  
  And the price for all this? Very very reasonable. I would recommend these guys to anyone. Clearly superior service.

  Excellent service. Replaced my water heater in less than 2 hours. Ed and his son, Jeremy, are excellent people who are very knowledgeable and friendly. They cleaned up before leaving and even checked a leaky toilet. If you need a plumber in the South Elgin area, call Convenient Plumbing. You will not be disappointed.

  Review 2018
  I called these guys back for a second job! Again - I was absolutely impressed with their work! They are genuinely honest and hard working! Not only did they fix the wax ring on the toilet that was broken, but they went above and beyond and check my other toilet and adjusted the chain! I am thankful I have a good plumbing company I can rely on in the future. The work is quality and they are trustworthy!

  These guys were great! I know absolutely nothing about plumbing, and being a single mom they totally could have ripped me off and replaced parts I didn't need on my ejector pump. Instead they were honest and said that all I needed was to adjust my float, which they did very quickly. While they were here they also went out of their way to inspect my sump pump and adjust a water watchdog alarm I had improperly installed. They also gave me friendly tips on maintaining my battery.
  They were very professional, really nice, and most importantly honest!!!

  Ed and his son did an excellent job of replacing corrugated pipe beneath my sink in the powder room and kitchen. He was reasonable and prompt to get the job done. I would recommend Convenient Plumbing to anyone who needs plumbing repairs. Good job!
