  My mom ended up here after brain surgery and I'm so glad that this is where she landed. I really loved this place. My mom ended up back in the ICU and then in a different rehabilitation facility only due to location. Now that we are at a new place, I see even more how much I like the Gardens on Quail.
  
  First, you get the feeling that the patient's recovery is really important to the team. Everyone introduces themselves and gives you contact information right away. They provide you with a 5-page orientation packet with lots of great information. My mom's new place has a 1-page document with almost nothing.
  
  Second, they are very accommodating to visitors. The way Gardens is laid out, the rooms are close to the dining room and the nurses station. Now that we're in a new facility which could be likened more to a rat maze, I appreciate this all the more. It's so easy to grab ice water, hot water, or a quick snack for your loved one. I can't even get ice cubes in the new place. The hairdresser is a genius. The back of my mom's head was shaved and after she was done with her, you couldn't even tell.
  
  Third, and most important is the staff. The nurses at Gardens were simply wonderful. The communication there is outstanding.
  
  So, why are there poor reviews for this place? Well, it isn't setup like the hospital. If your loved one needs more care than they can provide, it might be frustrating. However, if that is the case, then all facilities will be the same. Also, my mom ended up being diagnosed with delirium 6 days after surgery. I have since learned that this can happen a lot in an over 65 population. She was pretty much delusional and said things about the nurses and the facility that just didn't happen. I wonder if this happens sometimes. For example, she said that they never got breakfast. Well, we were there and she did. She said that they locked the doors at night and wouldn't let people out...there are no locks on the doors. That kind of stuff.
  
  As mentioned, we are now at another facility that is fine and only 2 minutes from my sister. The Gardens, for our family, wasn't close to anyone so sadly, we had to leave. I really appreciate it all the more now that we're not there.

  Great place to bring a loved one. the nursing staff is top notch and are great advocates for the patient. CNA's are all hard working and everyone has a great attitude. Sarah Dent the administrator really knows what she is doing!!

  This is the cleanest, most beautiful place. The staff here is amazing, fast and friendly!!! I work for Comforcare a home care company and sometimes we follow our clients to rehab and this was the most wonderful experience!! Very attentive and skilled staff!! The menu is fantastic, and fresh!!! I enjoyed going there every time!!!

  This place is awesome. Our brother went there after open heart surgery and had the most amazing experience. he people were great and helpful, the place is clean and cheerful and it is overall the best rehab center I have ever been to. We had him at the Manor in Denver 1st and it was not good at all. We would definitely recommend this center!
