  I've had the pleasure of staying here for PT and OT as well as recreational therapy. All were professional and fun to work with. This made my time go by quickly. The majority of the nursing staff are caring and committed to each patient. The attending MD is quite knowledgeable and cares deeply for the patients. The reason for 4 stars would be the kitchen and dining rooms. Food is adequate but well done most the time also temp. is not that great. I think 1 hour as apposed to 1/2 hour would improve appetites as well as social time. I also believe ore staff is needed to assist in dining room.

  My name is Adam. I was in a severe motorcycle accident that resulted in multiple leg and arm injuries which included a paralyzed right arm that also has debilitating nerve pain, a left arm that was broken and has limited use, and a shattered knee that kept me from walking. I went to Life Care Center of Aurora after I left the hospital for continued acute care. My medical care there was excellent. The Executive Director quickly responded to concerns expressed by my family. Dr. Singh (and his PA, Ms. Patel) were both professional and caring. Liza the case manager always went above and beyond in keeping me up to date and distributing all documentation so that I continued to get the care and benefits I needed. They even advocated for me so that I got a week to prepare when my insurance stopped covering my stay. They also fought for me so that I got my co-pay back when I was wrongfully charged by a hospital for an emergency visit. I would like to thank Yvonne, Laura, Belinda, Becky and Toni in nursing, and Helen the nursing director for their care. Peter and Kelsey with occupational therapy were a major help in getting me ready for daily living along with the rest of the O.T. team. The physical therapy team really helped with my recovery and preparing me to return home, big thanks to Andrew, Kate, Michelle, Marianne, Katrina, and anyone who I may have forgotten to mention. The food was pretty good too. I would like to thank everyone at Life Care Center of Aurora that was involved in my care and highly recommend them.
